This piece represents years of collecting and many, many hours of sewing. The ends are each a strong brass ring that you tie together either in front or in back. You can tie it with a small piece of jersey knit fabric (it comes with the piece) that you tuck in, or the rings are roomy and large enough to tie with a scarf. The big Hazari medallions accent your hip movement perfectly, and streaming back from them are huge rhinestone pieces, glass buttons (both antique and modern) that shimmer like water as you move, antique shell buttons, Turkoman buttons in a ring around a vintage brass brooch. The back is accented with gorgeous brass leaves.

There are loads of coins at the base, including a hand braided coin drape in the center. 

I love the feel of this belt - it speaks of a world traveling dancer from long ago, a little raggamuffin, and yet incredibly magical.
